2005.02.27 - Dion Siege: Excellion's Ultimate Defense

On February 27th, 2005, a battle of epic proportions, the likes of which had never been seen before on the Lionna server, took place at Dion castle. After a series of betrayals from ER, SC, and Star, Dion was the final castle held by the Invincible Alliance. The valiant Invincible castle defenders were: RICE, ZEN, ofDoom, Deviant, El Haramia, BigBadWolf, ImmortalKnight, and Adamant. Also, special thanks to RisingRift and Childs for helping us in this glorious battle. We started this siege inside the castle and awaited the assault from Syndicate, Mirage, and NewDawn. They had 26 clans signed to siege our castle and we estimate that they had approximately 35 clans in total for both signed and unsigned attackers. Our forces numbered a humble 100 or so (probably less) while the zerg easily numbered in excess of 300. We held the three attacking alliances at bay for 2 hours and were victorious. Many spectators watching the siege had said we had no chance against a force of this size; they were amazed when we came out on top. I had 1.5 hours of fraps collected from the siege and it took several weeks to finish this video. This is a very long video; it runs for 20 minutes and is 179 MB in size. Enjoy watching the greatest battle in the history of Lionna!
