Elven Scout's Light Armor Mastery

Nexie/Memorie,

Does the light armor mastery work with the mage armour (Mithril Tunic/Stocking) i have?

If not, I guess I need to trade for Manticore?

There are three kinds of armor. Robes, light and heavy. Robes (mage armor :P) do not work with light armor mastery. If you like hunting in robes though, there is no reason you shouldn't. All chars should use heavy armor regardless of their masteries when it comes to clan duals or personal duals. dodge hardly ever works, and you get more armor wearing heavy even if you have light armor mastery.

no u need manticore to get the proper evasion its also the best lught armor...
having a mana bonus just gives u extra downtime believe it or not so i would refrain from getting mage armor at higher levels :) :cool:

light armor is not as good as heavy, especially after c1. Evasion will not hold up against stronger monsters. If you want to be a farmer and kill lots of lower level monsters then you can wear light armor. Not that it matters since d sets do not work until c1 anyways. Furthermore, manticore would not give you more down time unless you were silly enough to rest all the time until your mana bar is full. I have spoken, so mote it be.

with archers they kite...they dont get hit often in groups,light armor is fine if we wore heavy we could not carry many arrows,so since u dont get hit often as a archer light armor is fine... ;)
