Even though we have enough lvl 60 now to have guild raids, there are still times when not enough RICE is on or everyone is busy with something. Thats where random pickup raids come in. Its a good way to increase the guild exposure and discover new potential recruits for the guild.

Also, if you happen to be a warrior/paladin/rogue the dime a dozen classes, you'll need to learn how to form raid groups and lead a raid.

Forming a raid:

1) Ask in guild channel who is interested, gather those people and start a raid party, thats your core group.
2) Start spamming LFM in IF, specify the class needed would be ideal, if you don't have enough yet, just let ppl msg you with their classes.
3) Lack of healer/mage use the command /who 60 priest to bring out a list of priests who are currently online. msg those who are currently not in an instance to see if they are interested. Most will say no, but you just need one.

KEEP IN MIND: When forming raid groups with random players, I'd suggest leader to give RICE members in that raid no loot competition. If someone is looking for Shadowcraft leggings, Don't invite another rogue from outside the guild. If no guild warrior is in the raid party, invite 3 or 4 warriors to fill the spot. :)

Basically, leading just requires you to manage loot and give instructions when ppl in the party doesn't know what to do. At the moment, the standard looting practice is Round Robin on Mobs and Master loot on Bosses. Class roll on Class. Sometimes people will ask to be allowed to roll on items outside of their class set, (ie Mage/priest want Dreamist) just say NO to avoid trouble and confusion.

Thats about it, please feel welcome to add or suggest anything.
