Hey ppl,
Since server is down, i'd like to post a few things in regards to looting. We have grown to a level where we are able to throw 10-15 men raid daily. I'd like to propose a way to distribute loot based on the degree of need between guild members.
Basically, it's very simple, the item goes to the person who needs it the most. For example, my warrior has Warmaster leggaurd (lvl 58 blue item) and legplate of Valor drops with me and another guild warrior in the party. It would be a very slight upgrade/ collection item for me. however the other warrior is still using a piece of green legging. The legging should automatically goes to that other warrior. Only time a roll is needed is when the need between all guild member is roughly equal, for example Lightforge set items. Most paladins do not have comparable equipments to their LF set, therefore when LF set drops, a roll is a reasonable way to decide who gets the item.
I guess what i'm doing here is to ask guild members who are already well-equipped to sacrifice a little, give up on that small upgrade so a fellow guild member can get a huge upgrade.
ps. this only applies to guild members, during a raid with players outside of the guild. I encourage all to roll on items they may need or items the guild may need. :)
